मोहन शाम को काम से वापस आया तो उसकी माँ दरवाजे पर बैठी थी तो मोहन आ के बोला क्या हुआ माँ क्यों दुखी बैठी हो चलो खाना -पानी दो भूख लगी है तब उसकी माँ उठी और खाना देने के लिए घर गई जब मोहन खाना खाने लगा तो मोहन की माँ बोली बेटा मैंने तुहारे चाचा को बोल दिया है की तुम शादी के लिए तैयार हो तब मोहन बोला ठीक है माँ जब आपने बोल ही दिया है तो हम अब क्या बोल सकते है मैंने तो बोल ही दिया है की आप जैसा चाहोगी और जो कुछ भी कहोगी मैं सब करूँगा क्यों कि मैं आपको दुखी नहीं करना चाहता वैसे भी पिता जी के जाने के बाद हम लोग बहुत मुश्किल से सम्भले है इतना कहते हुए मोहन बाहर की तरफ निकल पड़ा और दरवाजे पर आ कर बैठे गया और अपने माँ को आवाज दिया माँ आप खाना खा कर सो जाना मैं अभी पढाई करूँगा थोड़ी देर में मोहन की माँ दरवाजा बंद कर ली अंदर से और सो गई लेकिन मोहन यही सोचता रहा की आज पापा होते तो हमें इतना सोचना नहीं पड़ता मोहन पिता को याद करके अपने बिस्तर पर बैठे -बैठे रो था उसको अपने पिता की ना होने की कमी खल रही थी करन अंदर से तो पूरी तरह टूटा था लेकिन अपनी माँ के सामने खुश रहने की कोशिस करता था ताकि उसकी माँ दुखी न हो धीरे -धीरे समय बीतता गया एक दिन लड़की वाले मोहन के घर आये और उसकी माँ से मोहन की शादी के बारे में बात चीत की मोहन की शादी तय हो गई जब करन के घर लड़की वाले आये थे तो करन अपने काम पर गया हुआ था घर लौट के आया तो उसकी माँ ने बताया की बेटे आपकी ससुराल वाले आये थे तो शादी की दिन तारिक पक्की कर गए है मोहन बिना कुछ जबाब दिए अपने आप खाना निकला और खाने लगा तब मोहन की माँ बोली क्या हुआ ? कुछ बोल नहीं रहा तब मोहन बोला ठीक है माँ शादी की तैयारी करो ( और मेरी बर्बादी का तमासा भी देखना ये बात धीरे से मोहन बोला ) |
वो दिन आ गया जिस दिन का जगदीश और मोहन की माँ को इंतजार था शादी की सारी तैयारियां जगदीश और मोहन की माँ मिल के किया था जिस दिन मोहन की शादी थी वो बहुत दुखी था और अपने पिता को बहुत याद कर रहा था मोहन को ऐसा लग रहा था की सारी दुनिया एक तरफ है और मोहन एक तरफ अकेला है | फिर भी अपनी माँ की खुसी के लिए वो अपना मुँह बंद करके रखा था इस समय मोहन की आयु लगभग १५ साल की है बारात की सारी तैयारी हो गई और अब मोहन दुलहा बन कर शादी के लिए जा रहा है लेकिन उसके मन में किसी तरह की कोई खुसी नहीं दिख रही है जो शादी में एक दूल्हे की होती है वो किसी भी बाराती से कोई बात नहीं कर रहा है वो चुप चाप अपनी गाड़ी में बैठ गया जो दूल्हे के लिए लाई गई थी घर से बारात निकल गई शादी की सारी रस्मे सुरु हो गई लेकिन जब मोहन रात में शादी के लिए अपनी ससुराल में गया तो अपनी पत्नी राखी से कहा की आप मेरे से शादी मत करो और मैं ये शादी नहीं करना चह्ता हु ये सब लोग मिलकर मेरी शादी जबरदस्ती करवा रहे है क्यों कि शादी के बाद हम लोग खुस नहीं रह पाएंगे लेकिन राखी को करन की बातो का कोई असर नहीं हुआ उसे लगा की मोहन इस शादी से बचने के लिए ऐसा बोलरहा है क्यों की मोहन वाकई में देखने में बहुत सुन्दर है इस लिए राखी के माँ बाप भी मोहन से शादी करना कहते थे मोहन के लाख समझने पर भी राखी की समझ में कुछ नहीं आया और अंततः शादी हो गई जो जगदीश चाहता था वही हो गया |
शादी होने के बाद जब बारात दूसरे दिन घर आयी तो मोहन की माँ ने पुरे रस्मो रिवाज के साथ दुल्हन को घर के अंदर ले गई घर में चहल -पहल का माहौल बना हुआ है लेकिन मोहन के चेहरे पर एक पैसे की खुसी नहीं दिख रही है पूरा दिन बीत गया मोहन ने कुछ खाया भी नहीं है मोहन की बहन साम को जब मोहन को खाना खाने के लिए बुलाने गई तो देखा की करन एक घर के कोने बैठा रो रहा था तो मोहन की बहन बोली क्या मोहन ? तो मोहन बोला दीदी हम कैसे रह पाएंगे इन सब लोगो ने हमें कैसे फ़सा दिया है इस जंजाल में और मोहन अपनी बहन के चिपक के रोने लगता है (जब की मोहन की बहन भी इस शादी के खिलाफ थी ) मोहन की बहन मोहन को समझती है और बोलती है चल अच्छा खाना खा ले फिर बाद में देखा जायेगा सब ठीक हो जायेगा | मोहन को किसी तरह बहेला -फुसला कर खाने के लिए ले गई मोहन को उसकी बहन ने खुद अपने हाथो से खाना खिलाई क्यों की वो भी अपने भाई मोहन को बहुत प्यार करती थी करन अपनी सारी बाते अपनी बहन के साथ साझा करता था चाहे वो दुःख भरी बात हो या फिर किसी खुसी की बात हो |
मोहन अपनी बहन के हाथ को पकड़ के बोला दीदी हमें बहुत बड़ा आदमी बनना है पापा के सपनो को पूरा करना है जो हमने पापा से वादा किया है उसको पूरा करना है हमें इन सब में क्यों फसा दिया गया अभी मैं कितना छोटा हु मेरे साथ के बच्चे देखो कैसे खेलते है हम तो फिर भी कितना काम करते है और घर चलने के लिए बाहर से पैसा भी कमा के लाते है ताकि माँ को कोई दुःख न हो लेकिन दीदी माँ ने मेरी भावनाओ को फिर भी नहीं समझा आप ही बतावो दीदी मैं क्या करू मेरी तो कुछ समझ में नहीं आ रहा क्या करू देखो दीदी घर के चक्कर में ही मैंने अपनी कच्छा ९ की पढाई भी छोर दी पूरा साल बीत गया स्कूल नहीं गया सिर्फ माँ को खुस करने के लिए की इस साल कमा लेते है फिर अगले साल से पढाई फिर सुरु करेंगे | तब मोहन की बहन बोली परेशान मत हो हम है न ठीक कर दूंगी जा ! जा के सो जा मोहन की बहन मोहन को किसी तरह समझा बुझा कर सोने के लिए भेज दिया | भाग ---१३ जल्द ही ---------
